• Spot clean with a warm damp cloth
• Cold hand wash is recommended or gentle cold machine wash in a mesh garment bag.
• Always turn garment inside out when washing.
• Use a small amount of mild detergent.
• Line dry inside out.
• Do not tumble dry.
• Do not steam.
• Do not iron.
• Do not bleach, Soak or Wring.
• Do not dry clean.

We recommend handwashing your Vegan Leather Ngākau Garments using the following method.

1. Fill a clean sink or container with cold water, enough to completely submerge the garment.
2. Add a teaspoon of mild detergent to the water.
3. Turn the garment inside out and gently submerge it into the water.
4. Using your hands to gently move the garment around like an agitator for a few minutes or until the lining looks clean to your satisfaction.
5. Drain the sink or pour out water and rinse the garment with fresh cold water.

Drying your Vegan Leather Ngākau Garment

1. It’s always best to air dry vegan leather garments inside out. Hang dry on a line out of direct sunlight or lay over a drying rack. Laying it evenly to prevent misshaping when they dry.
2. Hang your jacket on a coat hanger to help retain it’ shape. Use a piece of protective cloth such as a clean tea towel or face cloth over the hanger to protect the inside faux leather fabric.
3. DO NOT tumble dry vegan leather garments. Doing so can damage the fabric coating and potentially melt the fabric.

• Do not iron directly onto trims.
